About

North Central Adult Education Consortium (NCAEC) is a collaborative network of educational providers, workforce development agencies, and human services organizations across Yuba, Sutter, Yolo, Colusa, and Lake Counties.
Our mission is to provide high-quality educational programs for adults that meet employer needs, enabling our students and our region to grow and thrive.
The Consortium's primary objective is to enhance adult education by offering programs in the following areas:
  • Elementary and secondary basic skills, including courses required for a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Classes and courses for eligible immigrants in citizenship, English as a second language, and workforce preparation in basic skills.
  • Education programs tailored for adults with disabilities.
  • Short-term career technical education programs with strong employment prospects.
  • Apprenticeship programs.
Together, we strive to empower adults in our communities to achieve their educational and career goals.
